THINK TANK serves as the central academic support center on our campus. The Technology Resources Assistant delivers technical and computer support to ensure that THINK TANK can provide those services seamlessly. The Technology Resources Assistant will assist in updating software, collecting and organizing data, and troubleshooting computer and equipment issues for THINK TANK staff and student workers in concert with the Technology Resources Coordinator.

Responsibilities
- Help to troubleshoot common desktop computer and laptop issues.
- Provide technical support for classroom A/V systems.
- Update THINK TANK website as needed.
- Run regular software updates or conduct other routine computer maintenance.
- Organize data and maintain spreadsheets related to THINK TANK I.T. tasks.
- Troubleshoot I.T. issues for remote users via video or chat.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Windows operating system and core Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience problem-solving technical issues and assisting others with technology.
- Understanding of basic information security best practices.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to learn new programs, software, and equipment and curiosity about new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with website editing or design.
- Intermediate knowledge of Windows 11 operating system.
- Understanding of file management tools and how they work (e.g. File Explorer, Box, OneDrive, Google Drive).
Compensation
Pay Rate $17/hour
Hours Per Week: 8-10
