Marketing Assistant (Content)

Position Overview

Think Tank’s goal is to assist students in becoming independent learners by providing a range of resources that develop students’ skills and help them succeed academically. Under the supervision of the Principal Marketing Specialist, the Content Marketing Assistant will develop communication campaigns designed to raise awareness of Think Tank services within the University of Arizona community.

Responsibilities

Execute assigned marketing materials (e.g., email campaigns, flyers) following established plans and brand standards
Assist with multi-media projects, video and photography
Assist with content creation by drafting basic copy and coordinating simple design requests
Support event marketing logistics, including organizing and tracking swag inventory, maintaining event calendar, and filling staffing needs
Proofread marketing materials for accuracy, consistency, and accessibility
Assemble marketing materials for Think Tank events
Act as an ambassador of Think Tank in various events and activities
Complete tasks and activities according to scheduled deadlines
Assist with special projects as assigned
Abide by University of Arizona Code of Conduct and Academic Code of Integrity

Required Qualifications

Current University of Arizona student enrolled in at least 6 units
Able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week
Experience with tabling and outreach as a representative of an organization
Ability to lift/carry items over 25 lbs
Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines
Committed to creating a welcoming and positive environment for all students and sensitive to student diversity
Graphic design skills
Photography/videography skills
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud apps (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Spark, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of facilities, classrooms, and services offered in the Bartlett Academic Success Center and Bear Down Gym spaces
Familiarity with Think Tank services
