Orientation 2022

Welcome to Schedule for Success! We are so excited to have you join the Wildcat family.

Schedule for Success is a program for first-year students (like you!) who place into Math 100 based on your major’s math requirement and PPL Assessment Score (math placement test). Schedule for Success is designed to encourage you throughout your first year at Arizona by providing a variety a variety of free academic and holistic support.

You can learn more about the PPL Assessment in your Next Steps Center (Click on "Placements" then select "Math Placement"). If the math placement section says "PPL Assessment Required", take it as soon as possible.  This will help make sure you are placed in the correct math class for your orientation day.

If you have not taken the PPL Assessment before your orientation date, you can take it after New Student Orientation, but may need to make changes to your class schedule. Please contact your academic advisor with any questions about your class schedule or major requirements.

Live Info Sessions

We look forward to meeting you during orientation!  You’ll start your day with our live Schedule for Success virtual information session at 8:00 a.m. (AZ time).  During this session, you’ll learn about Schedule for Success, meet our team, and have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with a math advisor if you have placement questions.

Find a complete list of what to do on your orientation day in your Next Steps Center (click on Countdown to Orientation, then select “Orientation day schedule”).
