Orientation 2024
Welcome to Schedule for Success! We are so excited to have you join the Wildcat family.
Schedule for Success is a program for first-year students (like you!) who place into Math 100 based on your major’s math requirement and PPL Assessment Score (math placement test). Schedule for Success is designed to encourage you throughout your first year at Arizona by providing a variety a variety of free academic and holistic support.
You can learn more about the PPL Assessment in your Next Steps Center (Click on "Placements" then select "Math Placement"). If the math placement section says "PPL Assessment Required", take it as soon as possible. This will help make sure you are placed in the correct math class for your orientation day.
If you have not taken the PPL Assessment before your orientation date, you can take it after New Student Orientation, but may need to make changes to your class schedule. Please contact your academic advisor with any questions about your class schedule or major requirements.

Before your Orientation Date:
- Review the Schedule for Success content in Arizona Arrival. This module will walk you through the program, the courses you will be enrolled in, and the support you will receive.
- Complete your MATH Placement through Next Steps Center. Take the PPL Assessment or submit current scores (ACT/SAT, transfer credit, AP/IB, etc.).
On your Orientation Date:

- Attend Schedule for Success Drop-In hours. Please come see us during drop-in
hours on your orientation from 9:00am - 11:00am where we can answer any
