Payment Policies
Payment Options
We have several payment options available for Test Prep services:
- Payment in full at the time of registration. Payment may be made via credit card, check, or money order payable to The University of Arizona.
- Current University of Arizona students may opt to bill their Bursar’s account for the full registration amount.
- Student status is verified during billing. If you are not enrolled in the current term, we will not be able to bill your Bursar’s account and will contact you for an alternative payment method.
- Bursar payments are billed at the time of registration. Bursar payments cannot be billed to future semesters.
- A non-refundable seat deposit may be made at the time of registration to hold a seat in any of our live courses.
- The seat deposit will be applied to the full cost of the course. The outstanding payment must be paid no later than seven calendar days in advance of the first day of the course in order for the seat to remain secured.
- Non-payment of any outstanding registration costs prior to seven calendar days before the course start date will result in the loss of the seat.
- This seat deposit amount is $250 for MCAT courses and $150 for all other live (synchronous) Graduate Test Prep courses. The seat deposit is not an option for the self-paced GRE course or GRE Private Tutoring.

Refunds
Refund requests must be made a minimum of two business days before the course begins. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than two business days in advance. Refund requests made within the stated cancellation timeframe can be granted due to personal hardship. Personal hardship refund requests must include evidence of:
- Serious Illness - hospital admission or serious injury
- Loss or Bereavement - death of a close family member
- Hardship/Trauma - victim of a crime, victim of a traffic accident
- Military Service
If you would like to request a refund for any of our live courses, a non-refundable deposit will be deducted from your full payment to cover administrative costs associated with your registration. This non-refundable deposit is $250 for MCAT courses and $150 for LSAT and GRE courses.
Self-paced courses cancelled less than 30 days from the time of registration will incur a $50 administrative fee unless cancellation is due to personal hardship. There are no refunds on private tutoring. If you are cancelling private tutoring due to a personal hardship, please contact us to discuss your options.
Discounts
University of Arizona Student, Staff, Alumni, and Military Discount
THINK TANK will provide a discount off the course retail price for University of Arizona current students, active classified or professional staff members, alumni, and/or military.
- Available discounts are as follows: $100 off a live MCAT course, $50 off a live GRE or LSAT course, $25 off a self-paced GRE course. Discounts are not available for private tutoring. Please see terms of discount below:
- Self-paced course discounts cannot be combined with any other type of discounts or offers.
- Customer must state eligibility at time of registration to receive discount.
- Eligible employment and alumni status will be verified at time of registration for the discount to be applied to the course fee.
Customer Referral Reward
THINK TANK will provide a $25 refund off the retail price of a GRE, MCAT, or LSAT prep course to the course participant who refers an individual to register for the course during the same semester. Please see terms of discount below:
- Reward cannot be combined with any other type of discounts, rewards or offers. Only one Customer Referral Reward per course registration.
- The referred customer must give your name at the time of registration.
- Both you and the referred customer must attend the prep course within the same calendar year.
- Customer Referral Reward will be provided by refund after the referred customer completes the course.
Referred Customer Discount
THINK TANK will provide a course discount of $25 off the retail price of a comprehensive GRE, MCAT, or LSAT Preparation program to the course registrant who was referred by a prior or concurrently registered prep course customer.
- Discount cannot be combined with any other type of discounts, rewards or offers. Only one Referred Customer Discount per course registration.
- The name of the person referring must be given at the time of registration.
- Both you and the referring customer must attend the prep course within the same calendar year.
Service Use Policies
Live Courses
- Registration for courses closes on the first day of instruction.
- Participants cannot be added to a class after the first week of instruction.
Self-Paced GRE Course & Private Tutoring
- Refunds or extensions for self-paced courses and private tutoring will not be given to customers who do not use the services within the following timeframes:
- Customers must begin self-paced GRE course on selected start date and within one year of purchase date.
- Customers must use private tutoring sessions within three months of purchase date.
- Private tutoring sessions must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. Sessions that are cancelled less than 24 hours in advance cannot be rescheduled.
Individual Support Appointments
- Customers can schedule free individual support appointments with the instructors during the time they have access to the course. Individual Support Appointments cannot be made after course access has expired.
- Instructors will not teach lessons or make up missed classes in these appointments.
- Sessions must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. Sessions that are cancelled less than 24 hours in advance may not be rescheduled.
Privacy Policies
THINK TANK at the University of Arizona is committed to providing its users good privacy practices regarding electronic personal information. We operate computer systems that are developed by our technical group and also contract with external organizations for data management. Information collected by systems is used to provide and tailor services to our customers and for program planning purposes. Information is also used to construct aggregate reports for internal institutional review.

Security
When users submit personally identifiable information via the THINK TANK website, the information is protected both online and off-line. All personally identifiable information THINK TANK collects about you is stored in limited-access servers. THINK TANK has technical, administrative, and physical security measures and safeguards in place to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under THINK TANK control.
Transactions
THINK TANK takes seriously its obligation for protecting your information and ensures that all confidential information you provide on this website will be used for the purpose for which it was collected, both by THINK TANK and business partners necessary for completing transactions.
