Tutoring

THINK TANK offers peer tutoring to University of Arizona students taking select math, science, business, and statistics courses. We offer tutoring support for courses that many students take during their first two years at the university. Our focus is on helping students build the foundational skills needed in their coursework to be successful in their upper division and major specific courses.

About Drop-In Tutoring

We offer free drop-in tutoring at various locations on campus and online for select math, science, language, and business classes.  Drop-in Tutoring provides a welcoming and inclusive environment where you can receive one-on-one support from a peer tutor. 

What to Expect

When you visit THINK TANK drop-in tutoring, you can expect to: 

  • Check in using our queueing system, and have access to seeing where you are in line 

  • Join a table with students who are studying the same subjects as you 

  • Work with a tutor one-on-one when it’s your turn. They may encourage you to collaborate with several students working on the same concept.

Looking for support in class that isn’t listed? Contact us at contenttutoring@arizona.edu to find out if we offer private tutoring for your course. Additionally, your course may be supported by Supplemental Instruction, which are free, weekly study groups.
