Shad Smith

Hello! My name is Shad Smith. As the MCAT Instructional Development Specialist it is my job to help students understand and prepare for the MCAT examination as part of the application process for medical school.

My academic background consists of degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics (B.S.) with a Math Minor and Teaching and Teacher Education (M.Ed.) from the University of Arizona. As a 98th percentile MCAT scorer I understand what it takes to succeed and it is my goal to guide students in their preparation for such a rigorous exam. I’m excited to show my students that anybody who is willing to put in the time and effort will take positive steps towards their personal MCAT goal score and the eventual goal of being accepted into medical school!
