Program Overview
Schedule for Success is a program for incoming first-year students who place into Math 100 based on their major's math requirement and their placement score. Schedule for Success combines math strategies and academic support to promote student success at the University of Arizona
For many majors at the University of Arizona, math is a foundational subject, and we are committed to providing students with the tools they need to be successful. Our courses, academic coaching, and tutoring services positively impact students' confidence in their first year and beyond.

2-unit, hybrid class that all Schedule for Success students take concurrently with Math 100. Through short lectures, group activities, and individual work, the course provides evidence-based learning strategies to increase studying efficiency and effectiveness.
3-unit math class for all Schedule for Success students that will help them develop and refine math skills needed for a university-level mathematics course. Office hours and individual support are available in-person and online.
Students with no math placement as of the first day of classes will be enrolled in Math 196B.
Math 196B students will re-take the PPL during the course and be placed in their appropriate math class in the spring.

Schedule for Success students have access to free support from professional and peer academic coaches who holistically support students as they navigate college life.
Schedule for Success students have access to unlimited, free drop-in tutoring for math in-person at all THINK TANK locations and online.
