Nieves Montaño

My name is Nieves Montaño, and as a Supplemental Instruction Coordinator, my driving force lies in fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment that empowers students to excel and achieve their fullest potential. My background is in both science and education, and throughout my professional life, I have enjoyed the opportunity to serve a diverse student population at different points in their education journey. I consider myself a life-long learner, and I am always eager to learn new and exciting things.

When I’m not in an academic setting, I enjoy being out in the desert exploring and photographing beautiful Arizona landscapes. I’m also a big fan of plants, local arts and crafts markets, and I’m always ready to try new food.
