Student Success & Retention Innovation
Student Success & Retention Innovation (SSRI) supports the success of all undergraduates at the University of Arizona. SSRI seeks to increase retention and graduation rates through strengths-based programming, evidence-based practices, and robust assessment. SSRI serves as a leader in public higher education for student success and degree completion. The SSRI division includes six distinct departments: the Advising Resource Center, C.A.T.S. Academics, the SALT Center, THINK TANK, the Thrive Center, and the Transfer Student Center.

Advising Resource Center
The Advising Resource Center (ARC) was established to provide thorough referral services for students which enhance access to academic advising, counseling, and other student services.
ARC assists advisors in developing a working knowledge of the range of UA student services, and answers questions they may have in assisting students. Staff provides training and professional development for campus academic advisors and maintains data about advising practices nationally and at the UA. ARC staff also consult with colleges and departments about aspects of good advising practices, recognition and rewards for advisors, and assessment of advising practices.

C.A.T.S. Academics
C.A.T.S. Academics provides customized services to student-athletes for them to achieve academic success.
Academic Counselors and Learning Specialists guide a student-athlete in selecting the services that highlight their academic strengths and improve their academic weaknesses. Graduation and personal growth steer C.A.T.S. Academics in services that are offered.

SALT Center
The SALT Center inspires students with learning and attention challenges to succeed in higher education. Through the provision of comprehensive academic support services, the SALT Center encourages student engagement, self-awareness, and growth.

THINK TANK
THINK TANK is dedicated to empowering UA students by providing a positive environment where they can master the skills needed to become successful lifelong learners.
By offering a wide range of programs and services, THINK TANK encourages students to apply and refine transferable skills that will sustain them throughout their academic and professional lives. Strengthened by partnerships, application of research, and use of technology, THINK TANK creates diverse learning environments that promote academic and personal exploration, collaboration, and critical thinking.

Thrive Center
The Thrive Center empowers students to appreciate and act on their environment through direct student service. The Thrive Center is focused on helping students:

Transfer Student Center
Services at the Transfer Student Center (TSC) are provided to students who are transferring (or considering transferring) to the University of Arizona. Professional staff, along with a team of Transfer Student Assistants, are available to assist students.
The TSC helps transfer students by meeting their unique needs and facilitates university transition by connecting students to support services on campus. The Transfer Student Center also offers a variety of academic and social programming in the Center.
