Leah Bowshier
Writing Center Manager
Hello! My name is Leah Bowshier (pronouns: she/her), and I am the Writing Center Manager. I have been working in writing centers since 2016, and I am passionate about empowering all writers to feel more confident approaching any type of writing.
I am currently a Ph.D. student here at the University of Arizona in the Rhetoric, Composition, and the Teaching of English (RCTE) program with a minor in Higher Education. I also have an M.A. in RCTE and a B.A. in English Literature and Ancient Languages. In my free time, I enjoy exploring Tucson festivals, binge watching TV shows with my cats, and checking out local bookstores and restaurants.
