Big News - Think Tank Services are now FREE!

Beginning with the Fall 2026 semester, Think Tank is providing academic support services at NO COST to students. Explore all of our free services: academic coaching, tutoring, supplemental instruction, Math Exam Prep, and the Writing Center. 

Academic support is a core part of the U of A experience. Think Tank is the go-to place for support for students on their academic journey, and a complement to the classroom learning experience. Think Tank provides more than tutoring for foundational courses. The Writing Center provides free 1:1 writing support for all types of writing, Think Tank’s academic coaches are available to support any and all Wildcats in their navigation of the university, and Supplemental Instruction and Math Exam Prep provide students the opportunity to learn and deepen their understanding of select science and math courses. The road to graduation is made possible by resources like Think Tank - and we are proud of these changes in an effort to minimize the financial barrier to this learning support.
