Exercise as a Learning Strategy
Ever opt out of physical exercise in order to make time for studying? It’s bound to happen now and then, school can be VERY demanding. Yet, this workshop is here to tell you about all the reasons exercise can actually improve your effectiveness and efficiency in learning new materials and managing stress. Drawing from new science on exercise and the brain, you’ll learn some of the mechanics of how exercise is your most powerful tool for optimizing brain function. This workshop also offers opportunities to reflect of your personal experiences and hopes with exercise, as well as some helpful tips about the nature of habits and how to make a balanced game plan for success.
