My name is Lauren Frelke and I am an Instructional Specialist, Sr. here at the THINK TANK. After receiving my B.S. in Physiology with a Minor in Studio Art from the University of Arizona in 2012, I worked in healthcare for 5 years as a Pharmacy Technician, EMT, and have also spent the past 3 years tutoring for Pima Community College’s EMT Program. These were wonderful experiences that led me to have a strong passion for academia, and I am very excited to now be teaching the THINK TANK’s MCAT Prep Course!
A little about me: I grew up a military brat and was privileged to live in many different places before moving to Tucson 10 years ago. This upbringing gave me a love for exploration, which means I’ll usually take advantage of every opportunity I get to learn something new! I have a variety of hobbies that I enjoy doing in my spare time; among them are painting/drawing, dancing, musical endeavors, and fixing cars—my current project being the restoration my father’s 1983 Toyota Landcruiser. If you get a chance to meet me, you’ll quickly learn that I am very optimistic, easily amused, and a total throwback that loves classic rock.
